It’s no secret that hard work is an integral part of American values. A recent survey from Mike’s Hard Lemonade reveals that more than half of employed Americans consider their jobs to be more demanding than those of others. This dedication to the grind makes challenging work seem effortless.
But does a hard day of predicting weather, tasting food, or acting deserve a Mike’s Hard Lemonade? According to Lamorne Morris, the answer is a resounding yes. Join Mike’s Hard Lemonade at the Mike’s Jobstacle Course, an interactive pop-up event that makes hard days a little sweeter.
Partnering with hard-working actor Lamorne Morris, Mike’s Hard Lemonade is hosting the Mike’s Jobstacle Course to showcase that even seemingly “easy” jobs have their challenging moments. Scheduled just before Labor Day on August 20 in New York City—a city known for its hustle—the event gives participants a chance to experience what different jobs are like. Think being a weatherperson or a bookseller is a breeze? Think again. Participants (21+ only) will get a taste of these deceptively challenging jobs, proving that every occupation has its hard moments.
Those who complete the Jobstacle Course will enjoy light bites, Mike’s Hard Days Rewards swag, and a refreshing Mike’s Hard Lemonade as a well-deserved reward. The event takes place at 477 Broadway from 2-8 p.m. ET. To participate, RSVP at mikesjobstaclecourse.eventbrite.com.
Lamorne Morris, the event’s host, knows a thing or two about hard work. “I’ve had a lot of jobs—from restaurant server to big-box retailer clerk and telemarketer. All jobs can be surprisingly tough in different ways. After a hard day, there’s nothing better than an ice-cold Mike’s Hard Lemonade,” said Morris.
Mike’s Hard Lemonade surveyed employed Americans about their jobs, revealing that 52% perceive their jobs as harder than others, 50% consider their job the hardest part of their day, and 85% believe they deserve a reward after a hard day’s work.
“At Mike’s, we celebrate the hard work of our consumers who give their all every day. They deserve to be rewarded,” said Kevin Brady, Vice President of Marketing, Mike’s Hard Lemonade. “As Labor Day approaches, we want to honor that effort because a hard day deserves a refreshing-tasting Mike’s Hard Lemonade.”
The Mike’s Jobstacle Course is part of the brand’s Hard Days Deserve a Hard Lemonade campaign, launched in May for Mike’s 25th Anniversary. Learn more and RSVP at https://mikesjobstaclecourse.eventbrite.com or follow @MikesHardLemonade on Instagram & Facebook.
