Crystal Lagoons Expands in Europe with New Public Access Lagoons® Project in Seville

by Crystal Rankin

MIAMI, July 26, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Crystal Lagoons is transforming cities worldwide by introducing the tropical beach lifestyle through its Public Access Lagoons® (PAL®) model. This global innovation company, with 1,000 projects in various stages of development and negotiation across 60 countries, is now making its mark in Europe. The latest addition is a new complex in Seville, one of Spain’s most iconic and charming Mediterranean cities, which will soon boast a Caribbean ambiance thanks to Crystal Lagoons’ newest project.

Crystal Lagoons is developing a new complex in Seville that will feature a crystalline lagoon, ideal for swimming and water sports, accessible to all through ticketed entry. This development will also include residential units, a hotel, shops, restaurants, and a range of commercial and entertainment facilities, showcasing the essence of the PAL® experience.

With this project, Crystal Lagoons continues its European expansion, where it is already present in countries such as Spain, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, and Hungary, with projects in various stages of development and negotiation. Noteworthy projects in Spain include two in Murcia and another on the Costa del Sol.

The Seville development is part of Crystal Lagoons’ collaboration with the award-winning Romanian firm Forty Management in various European cities. This partnership has already seen success with the recently inaugurated Lagoon Park Bucharest, which revolutionized the city, selling out tickets more than a week in advance.

“Seville boasts one of the best climates in Europe, making it ideal for year-round enjoyment of this PAL® project. This development will not only enhance a tourist city that is already one of the most popular in Spain and Europe, attracting millions of visitors each year, but it will also set a new standard of entertainment for the millions of Sevillians,” said Jean Pierre Juanchich, Global Business Director of Crystal Lagoons.

PAL® projects are also recognized for their environmental benefits. By bringing beach life with turquoise waters and white sands closer to home, these projects reduce the carbon footprint by up to 40% in the tourism and transportation sectors, as they eliminate the need for long car or plane trips.
